About Mrs. Hall

Dear Parents,
My name is Celeste Hall, and I am so excited to be your child's 3rd grade teacher this year! This is my fourth year at San Elijo and my 16th year teaching. I love teaching 3rd grade, and I look forward to having a fun and successful year with my class. I’m honored to have the opportunity to teach here at SEES!

I am double lucky to have my twins, Andrew and Evan, who will be starting 5th grade this year. They are tons of fun and keep my husband and I very busy at home! They play baseball and soccer, so I usually spend most of my free time on some sort of field! I also have a six year old named Tyler. Tyler will be in kindergarten this year! He is obsessed with baseball, so of course he plays fall and spring ball! Everyday they make us laugh and amaze us with how different their unique personalities are.

Since I was a little girl, I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher. When choosing a major for college, I tried to choose one that I felt would help me to be a great teacher. I went to UCSD and received a BS degree in Developmental Psychology and a minor in Teacher Education. After graduating from USCD, I attended Azusa Pacific University and earned my teaching credential and MA in Education. I feel that the education that I have received has enabled me to understand the development of children and how to be a supportive and effective teacher.

Early on in my career, I was a Title I teacher in the Vista Unified school district. Since then I have worked as a full time teacher at a private school in Encinitas, Oceanside Unified, Moreno Valley Unified, and most recently, Temecula Valley Unified. I worked in Temecula for eight years and taught third, fourth, and fifth grade. I have learned so much at every site that I was fortunate to be a part of. I strive to meet my students’ individual needs and create a stimulating and rigorous environment!

3rd grade is a very challenging year, and students have an enormous amount to learn. My goals are to build a community of excited learners who respect each other, learn to
Family picture think critically and independently, and strive to reach their fullest potential by taking on academic challenges. I am confident that 3rd grade will be both fun and stimulating for your child. With your help, we will make your child’s third grade experience a success!

I am truly looking forward to a great school year!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Hall
