SEES MATH OLYMPIAD
Who: Open to all 4th and 5th grade students. Students who have a passion for Mathematics and love an extra challenge should consider signing up to participate in the 1st Annual SEES Math Olympiad!
What: Each week, students will receive a set of practice questions from past Olympiads. Practice sessions will take place weekly before school on Tuesdays at 8:00 am (and other days/times to be determined). Students should also practice on their own. Mr. Bell (SEES STEM teacher) will provide practice problems.
When: Students will have practice math sessions with Mr. Bell before school each Tuesday, starting at 8:00 am. There will be five testing dates in November, December, January, February, and March. The specific test dates will be announced one week in advance.
Where: All practice sessions and tests will be conducted before school in Room 204.
Why: To strengthen Mathematical intuition & foster Mathematical creativity and ingenuity.
