Arrival at School

School begins at 8:45 am each morning for grades 1-5 and the lineup bell rings at 8:43 am. Children are allowed on the playground/lunch court beginning at 8:15 am when supervision is provided.  If driving to school, please read SEES Traffic Plan (under Policies and Procedures).

The rolling gate near the drop off lane will not be open before school. All students must enter campus through the front gates near the office. Parents are not permitted to come on campus before school through the gates. Parents must sign in through the office and be expected by the classroom teacher. These gates will be locked promptly at 8:45 each morning. Students arriving after 8:45 must proceed to the attendance clerk with parent for a tardy slip. You will need to park in a designated parking place to walk your child into the office. Please allow plenty of time each morning for traffic to ensure your children are not tardy.

pencilChange of Dismissal Plans

Your child will be sent home directly after school. If a change in your normal routine is requested, a written note from the parent should be sent with your child so the teacher is informed and can direct him/her. There is no provision for children to play on campus after class is dismissed each day.

Leaving School Early

Students may not leave school early unless they are signed out and picked up in the office by a parent or other person authorized on the emergency card. The office must have names of all authorized, even relatives. Anyone signing a child out for the day will be asked to show photo identification.
