Gary Pope, Principal

I am proud to serve students as the Principal of San Elijo Elementary School.  I have worked in San Marcos Unified School District for over 16 years as principal at Carrillo Elementary, assistant principal at San Elijo Middle School, and other leadership positions throughout the district. Through all of my experiences as an educator, I learned that parent involvement is essential to the individual success of a child and of the school. With that, I look forward to our partnership and collaboration in your child's education.
