Awards and Recognition

San Elijo Elementary School encourages students to achieve their personal best while taking academic risks and demonstrating responsibility themselves. Recognizing students achievements in all areas (academic and citizenship) encourages us to continue to strive for our personal best.

Student of the Month
Students are chosen by their teachers for their outstanding work in school. This recognition is celebrated at the end of the month at Friday Flag Salute.

Grade Level Athletes of the Month
Students are selected for their exceptional effort and participation in our Physical Education program. Students are recognized at our Friday Flag Salute. 

Attendance Award
Students are awarded in grades K-5 for perfect attendance.

Presidential Award

5th grade students who have demonstrated academic excellence will receive this award at the end of the second semester. 

Eagle Passes
S.O.A.R” is an essential element of our school environment. Students receive Eagle Passes for demonstrating exceptional Eagle behavior around Safety, Ownership, Acceptance, and Respect. These passes are redeemed for rewards.

Principal's Award
This honor is reserved for students who have done an exceptional job on campus. This recognition could represent academic excellence or exceptional citizenship. 

Soaring Eagle

Teachers award the Soaring Eagle award at each semester recognizing students for academic achievements or for demonstrating excellent effort.
