Welcome! My name is Mrs. Schluederberg, and I am thrilled to be your child’s 3rd-grade teacher for the 2024–2025 school year. I grew up in Fresno, California, and later moved to San Diego to attend SDSU. I have been married for 25 years and have two wonderful children: a 23-year-old son who graduated from UC Berkeley and is pressuring his Law Degree and a 20-year-old daughter currently attending UC Davis. Both of my children attended San Elijo Elementary School and progressed through to San Marcos High School. 
Before embarking on my teaching career, I worked as a political event coordinator for 12 years. During this time, I organized fundraisers, mixers, and dinner parties for congressional members, presidential candidates, and prime ministers in New York, Washington DC, and San Diego. 
While my children were in middle school, I pursued my teaching credential at CSUSM, followed by a Master's in Education Curriculum and a GATE certification from UCSD. This will be my 9th year teaching in SMUSD and my 5th year at SEES.
